Sunshine Slush - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    2 ripe medium bananas
    2 (16 oz.) cans unsweetened pineapple juice
    1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice, thawed
    1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade, thawed
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 1/2 c. light rum or vodka
    Sprite or ginger ale
Preparation
    Boil water; stir in sugar until dissolved.
    Boil gently, uncovered, 3 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Cool.
    Meanwhile, in blender, combine bananas and 1/2 of the pineapple juice; blend until smooth.
    Stir into cooled syrup.
    Stir in the remaining pineapple juice, orange juice, lemonade and lemon juice.
    Stir in vodka or rum.
    Turn into 9 x 13-inch plastic container and freeze.
