Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas and carrots
1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. chicken broth
2/3 c. milk
1/3 c. margarine or butter
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 1/2 to 3 c. cooked chicken or turkey
Preparation

Heat oven to 425\u00b0. Heat margarine or butter until melted. Stir in flour, onion, salt and pepper. Cook until bubbly; remove from heat. Stir in broth and milk. Heat until boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir for approximately 1 minute. Stir in chicken and vegetables. Pour mixture into prepared pie shell. Cover mixture in pie shell. Turn edges under just like a pie. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until brown.
