Sweet Potato Sonker - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium sweet potatoes
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. butter
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. canned evaporated milk (I use Carnation)
Preparation
    Peel and slice sweet potatoes.
    Cover with water.
    Cook until tender.
    Line pan with biscuit dough.
    Put potatoes and water potatoes were cooked in to lined pan.
    Add sugar, butter, ginger, vanilla and milk.
    Cover with top crust, sealing edges.
    Sprinkle a little sugar over top crust.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown.
