Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 c. either chopped pecans or coconut
1 stick butter
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
1/2 c. packed dark brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

In a bowl, put flour and nuts.
In saucepan, melt butter; add sugar and Karo.
Combine the two mixtures and add vanilla.
Bake at 350\u00b0 on foil until done (approximately 8 to 10 minutes).
Take foil out; let cool approximately 2 to 3 minutes on cake rack, then peel from foil and let cool on paper towels on another cookie rack.
