Whiskey Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yellow cake mix (Duncan Hines Royal)
1 pkg. instant coconut pudding mix
4 eggs
1/2 c. oil
1 c. milk
1 c. chopped nuts
18 or more cherries
1 Tbsp. orange flavoring
1 stick oleo
1/3 c. whiskey
1/2 c. sugar
Preparation

Beat eggs well, add cake mix, oil, milk and orange flavoring. Beat 1 minute, add pudding mix and nuts.
Pour over cherries, which are cut up and in bottom of greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
In pan, melt 1 stick oleo, take off heat and add 1/3 cup whiskey and sugar.
Pour half over cake in pan.
Let set 15 minutes.
Remove from pan and pour remaining mixture over cake.
