New England Boiled Kielbasa Dinner - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. Eckrich Polska kielbasa, cut into 8 pieces
1 medium head cabbage, cut in wedges
4 medium carrots, peeled and cut in 2-inch pieces
4 c. water or half water and half beef broth
1 bay leaf
1 clove garlic
1 Tbsp. caraway seed
1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation

Combine sausage
and
vegetables
in
large Dutch oven. Add water, bay leaf, garlic and caraway seed; bring to a boil. Cover; reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes, until vegetables are tender. Remove bay leaf
and
garlic.
Arrange
sausage
and vegetables on platter.
Sprinkle
with
parsley.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
