Jiffy Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. cake mix (1 layer type)
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 large Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bake cake according to directions.
    Put it into a 9 x 12-inch pan.
    Cool.
    Put instant pudding, cream cheese and 1 1/2 cups milk into bowl and beat well.
    Put pudding mixture on cool cake; add drained pineapple over top, then add Cool Whip over the top of that.
    Top with coconut, if desired.
