Tijuana Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (1 lb.) can stewed tomatoes (Del Monte Mexican tomatoes work well)
    8 oz. tomato sauce
    4 oz. diced green chilies
    1/2 to 1 pkg. taco seasoning (to taste)
    1 pkg. large flour tortillas
    1 lb. Colby/Jack cheese, shredded
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
    shredded lettuce
    chopped onions
    picante sauce
Preparation
    Brown hamburger and onion.
    Add tomatoes, sauce, chilies and seasoning.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    Place 1/2 cup mixture in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Place layer of tortillas on top. Add more mixture, then layer cheese.
    Repeat layers.
