Steak Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. round steak
    1/4 c. rice (uncooked)
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1/2 c. tomato juice
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. diced green pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cut fat from steak and cut into 1 or 2-inch pieces.
    Season and dredge in flour and brown in hot fat quickly.
    Place in 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Add tomatoes, onion, green pepper, rice, tomato juice, salt and pepper.
    Arrange with the onion slices on top.
    Cover with foil and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
