Persimmon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. mashed persimmon
3/4 tsp. salt
1 2/3 c. evaporated milk
3 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. butter
1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger (optional)
1/8 tsp. cloves (optional)
Preparation

Beat all ingredients together with rotary beater.
Pour into pastry-lined pie pan (9-inches).
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 45 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted 1-inch from side of filling comes out clean.
Center may still look soft, but will set later.
