Peas And Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. fresh green peas
    2 Tbsp. bacon drippings or can use oil
    salt to taste
    6 to 8 new potatoes
Preparation
    Pull strings from peas.
    Break in half.
    Cook over medium heat until almost done, about 3/4 of an hour.
    Scrub new potatoes with a brush or rough dish cloth.
    Rinse and put on top of peas.
    Cook until tender, about 20 minutes longer.
