Potato Soup With Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    4 medium potatoes, diced
    1 (4 oz.) can green chiles, seeded and chopped
    1 tomato, chopped
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 tsp. butter
    1 c. grated cheese
    1/2 lb. bacon, chopped and fried
Preparation
    Bring water and salt to boil; add potatoes.
    Cook until tender. Saute chiles, tomato and onion in butter.
    Add to potatoes.
    Just before serving, stir in cheese and bacon.
