Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. plain flour
    1 c. Crisco
    1/4 tsp. each: baking powder, salt and soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    4 eggs
Preparation
    Cream the Crisco and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add buttermilk and beat well.
    Add eggs. Sift the flour; measure baking powder, salt and soda.
    Sift together 3 or 4 times.
    Add flour all at once.
    Beat well.
    Add flavoring last.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0 for 1 hour; do not open oven.
