Taco Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 pkg. taco mix
    1 onion
    1 pkg. corn or tortilla chips
    1 head lettuce
    1 tomato
Preparation
    Cook ground beef until brown.
    Drain grease.
    Add taco mix and 1 cup water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Let simmer for 5 minutes.
    Shred cheese; dice onion and shred lettuce in a bowl with tomato.
    Crush chips.
    Put all this into a bowl and mix.
    Add ground beef last. Stir until mixed well.
    Serve with hot sauce.
