Ice Cream Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. pecan sandies cookies
    2/3 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 sq. semi-sweet chocolate
    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    3 eggs, separated
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
Preparation
    Crush cookies and spread in 9 x 13-inch cake pan (save a few crumbs for top).
    Melt chocolate with butter.
    Mix in powdered sugar, vanilla and beaten egg yolks.
    Mix well.
    Fold in beaten egg whites.
    Pour mixture over crumbs and freeze overnight. Soften ice cream and spread top of frozen layer.
    Sprinkle with remaining crumbs and freeze.
