Caramel Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat.
    Add brown sugar and salt.
    Stir until sugar is dissolved.
    Add milk.
    Cook 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and cool.
    Pour mixture into a mixing bowl.
    Add vanilla and confectioners sugar.
    Stir on fold/dry to moisten ingredients; blend on whip/cream for 2 minutes. Frosts two 8-inch layers.
