Italian Zucchini - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
    2 lb. zucchini, washed and sliced
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    salt, to taste (optional)
    1 (16 oz.) can Del Monte stewed tomatoes, chopped
    grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp. basil
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
Preparation
    Saute onion, zucchini and spices in olive oil, until zucchini is crisp-tender.
    Add tomatoes.
    Cook on medium until thoroughly heated.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan before serving.
    Serves 4 to 6.
