Mayonnaise Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. hot water
    1 c. raisins
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. nuts
    2 c. flour
    2 eggs
    mayonnaise
Preparation
    Sprinkle soda over raisins.
    Pour hot water over them.
    Stir in sugar.
    Break egg yolks in measuring cup; add to measuring cup with eggs enough mayonnaise to equal 3/4 cup.
    Combine eggs, mayonnaise and sugar.
    Stir in flour.
    Save 1/2 cup flour and roll nuts in flour.
    Add nuts to batter.
    Bake in 3 layers at 325\u00b0 until done.
    Frost with 7-Minute Frosting or favorite frosting.
