Twenty Four Hour Dill Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 qt. water
4 c. cider vinegar
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. canning salt
garlic to taste
fresh dill or dill seed to taste
Preparation

In a gallon jar, place sliced cucumbers, dill and garlic. Bring to a boil water, vinegar, sugar and salt.
Pour hot solution over cucumbers.
Let stand until cool.
Put on lid and refrigerate.
