Ingredients

3/4 lb. butter
3 c. flour
1/2 c. honey
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. blanched finely ground almonds
1 c. carob chips
Preparation

Work first 5 ingredients together to form smooth paste; add carob chips.
Roll a spoonful of dough between the palms of hands. Flatten with bottom of glass or cookie press.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 25 minutes at 325\u00b0, until golden brown.
