Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe

1 fryer chicken, cut up
1 1/2 c. rice
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 envelope onion soup mix
3 c. milk
Preparation

Use 13 x 9-inch baking dish with cover.
Pour rice in the dish, covering the bottom.
Add the soups, but save some of onion soup mix to cover chicken.
Add milk and stir until evenly distributed. It is okay to have soup lumps.
Put chicken pieces on the top. Sprinkle with remaining onion soup mix.
Cover and bake at 275\u00b0 for 2 hours.
Serves 6 to 8.
