Broccoli Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    broccoli (frozen or fresh)
    3/4 c. rice
    1 small onion, diced
    1 jar Cheez Whiz
    3/4 can cream of mushroom soup
    grated cheese (to cover top)
    salt and pepper to taste
    diced onion (is optional)
Preparation
    Put broccoli in a small cooking utensil half full of water. Cook until tender.
    Do the same with the rice.
    Strain both, one at a time and add to bowl (ovenproof).
    Mix almost whole jar of Cheez Whiz and about 3/4 can of soup into the bowl.
    Add salt, pepper and onion.
    Bake about 10 or 15 minutes.
    Do not let sides of bowl burn.
    Then add enough grated cheese on top to cover it. Broil 5 minutes.
