Pecan Dainties - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. soft butter
2 c. flour
2 c. ground pecans
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. water
granulated sugar for rolling
pecan halves for garnish
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0, after chilling dough.
Combine butter and sugar until light.
Add rest of ingredients; mix well.
Chill, roll into 3/4-inch balls.
Place on cookie sheet.
Press pecan half in center and flatten cookie.
Bake for 20 minutes, roll in sugar while warm.
Cool on rack.
Makes 6 to 8 dozen.
