Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. water
1 Tbsp. butter
1/3 c. lemon juice
grated rind of 2 lemons
2 egg yolks
Preparation

Mix the first 4 ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add the butter, lemon juice and grated rinds. Beat yolks and add half of mixture to yolks.
Pour back in saucepan and boil 1 minute.
