Lemon-Garlic Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh green beans
    1 medium lemon
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    3 cloves garlic
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Cook beans in 1-inch water for 8 minutes over medium heat covered.
    Cut zest from lemon rind and cut into 1/8-inch strips. Squeeze lemon juice and set juice and rind aside.
    Saute oil and garlic in pan for 1 minute.
    Add beans and coat with oil/garlic mixture.
    Add lemon juice and rind.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
