Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    3 c. water
    2 pkg. jello (any flavor)
    46 oz. pineapple juice
    12 oz. lemon juice (I use two 6 oz. frozen lemonade concentrate)
    1 oz. almond flavoring
    about 104 oz. ginger ale or 7-Up
    about 104 oz. water
Preparation
    Boil sugar with water about 5 minutes.
    Dissolve 2 packages jello in this syrup.
    Add pineapple juice, lemon juice and almond flavoring.
    Mix all together thoroughly.
    Place in refrigerator. About 1 hour before serving, mix one part mixture to one part water.
    Chill.
    When put in punch bowl, add one part ginger ale or 7-Up.
    Serves 75.
