Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped canned meat (your choice)
    3 c. diced potatoes
    1 onion, chopped fine
    2 Tbsp. fat from meat can
    1 c. broth, milk or water
    salt and pepper to suit taste
Preparation
    Cook onion slowly in fat for about 5 minutes.
    Add potatoes, meat, salt, pepper and broth.
    Continue cooking until potatoes are done.
    If necessary, add extra liquid to keep mixture from burning.
    Stir occasionally.
