Praline Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
    1/3 c. butter
    1/2 c. light brown sugar
    1 c. pecans
    2 c. milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Combine
    butter,
    brown
    sugar
    and
    pecans in skillet; cook over low
    heat until sugar dissolves.
    Pour in pie shell. Combine sugar
    and
    cornstarch
    in
    a boiler; slowly add milk. Cook over low
    heat until thickened.
    Add vanilla;
    pour over pecan mixture. Let
    cool.
    Whip cream, adding powdered sugar, as desired. Spread on top of cool pie.
