Granny Vaughn Coconut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. plain flour with 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    5 eggs
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    1 c. milk
    1 c. coconut
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    For rich cake, add 2 sticks butter.
    Cream together Crisco and sugar; add eggs, one at a time.
    Add flour and milk alternately. Add vanilla and coconut.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
