Chocolate Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 refrigerated single ready-rolled pie crust
    4 oz. German chocolate
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    3 eggs
    1/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/4 c. pecan halves
    sweetened whipped cream (for topping)
    pecan halves (for topping)
Preparation
    Melt chocolate in microwave-safe container in the microwave at Full power for 3 minutes or on top of a double boiler over simmering, not boiling, water.
