Alice'S Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks)
    1/2 lb. Crisco (1 c.)
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1/2 c. cocoa
    3 c. cake flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream together the butter, Crisco and sugar. Add 5 egg yolks and mix well. Add the cocoa. Add alternately the flour, baking powder and milk, mixing well after each addition.
    Add the vanilla.
    Fold stiff egg whites into mixture last of all.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes or longer.
    (I check mine at 1 hour.)
    Frost with your favorite chocolate frosting.
