Snails In Mushroom Caps - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. minced parsley
3 Tbsp. scallions or green onions, minced
3 garlic cloves, pressed
6 Tbsp. butter
salt, pepper and nutmeg
2 doz. medium fresh mushrooms
2 doz. snails, rinsed, drained and trimmed to fit into mushrooms
Preparation

Mix parsley, scallions, garlic and butter well.
Add salt and pepper to taste and add a pinch of nutmeg.
Remove stems from mushrooms and fill with butter mixture.
Place a snail in each mushroom cap and top with more butter mixture.
Place in casserole (one layer).
Bake at 400\u00b0 about 10 minutes.
Serve as first course or appetizers.
