Apple Taffy Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) crushed pineapple, drain juice and save
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
1 Tbsp. flour
4 c. diced green apples
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
1 c. chopped salted peanuts
Preparation

Combine pineapple juice, egg, sugar, vinegar and flour.
Cook over low heat until thickened.
Cool.
Toss pineapple and apples together.
Add cooled custard and Cool Whip.
Add peanuts last. Sprinkle finely chopped peanuts on top, if desired.
