Never Fail Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    milk
    4 level tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Into standard measuring cup, break the egg.
    Beat lightly and fill the cup with milk.
    Add to dry ingredients.
    Beat a little.
    Let stand to rise 5 minutes.
    Drop batter by tablespoons on top of boiling stew meat or chicken. Cover and boil for 20 minutes.
