Old Fashion Chestnut Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 cans sliced chestnuts, drained
1/3 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 lb. sausage
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
2 tsp. salt
1 large onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. poultry seasoning
6 c. toasted bread crumbs

Preparation

Melt butter in a skillet and saute sausage meat and onion. Add water or broth, seasonings and bread crumbs.
Stir in chestnuts.
