Chicken And Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 3 1/2 lb. fryer
    1 can double-strength chicken broth
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 1/2 Tbsp. Crisco
Preparation
    Cover skinned fryer with water.
    Add chicken broth.
    Cook or boil for 1 1/2 hours.
    Remove chicken, bone and cut into serving pieces.
    Strain broth.
