Walnut Cheese Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. creamed cottage cheese, drained
    1/2 lb. (2 cubes) butter or margarine
    2 c. flour, sifted
    4 Tbsp. butter, melted
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. finely chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Preparation
    Blend cottage cheese and 1/2 pound butter with a fork.
    Add flour and blend until dough holds together.
    Roll to 1/2-inch thick on lightly floured board.
    Spread dough with melted butter, then sprinkle with brown sugar and nuts.
    Cut into triangles 3-inches wide at base.
    Beginning at base, roll dough into sticks. Place point side down onto greased baking sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
    Makes 3 dozen.
