Lemon Butter Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    6 eggs
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 lb. candied pineapple
    1 lb. brown sugar
    4 c. flour
    1 oz. lemon extract
    1/2 lb. candied cherries
    4 c. pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, 3 cups flour, baking powder and extract.
    Cover fruit and nuts with 1 cup flour.
    Add to mix.
    Line pan with greased brown paper.
    Pour batter into pan and let set overnight.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Raise heat to 350\u00b0 for 1 3/4 hours.
