Leeks With French Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 leeks
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Remove outer parts of leeks. Wash well and cut into 1-inch pieces.
    Cover with water, add salt and simmer 20 to 30 minutes until tender.
    Make French gravy by combining butter and flour, mixing well but do not cook.
    Add some of the leek broth to this mixture, stirring until smooth.
    Add this to the leeks and simmer 5 minutes.
    Serve with boiled potatoes.
