Ingredients

1/2 lb. oleo
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 box light brown sugar
pinch of salt
4 egg yolks
1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
Preparation

Cream together oleo and butter (or can use all oleo).
Add brown sugar and salt.
Add egg yolks, vanilla and flour.
Beat well.
Place in refrigerator for 1 hour.
Scoop cookie dough using a teaspoon.
Roll into balls.
Dip in egg white; roll in ground walnuts.
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Make thumbprint.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Take out and press in thumbprint.
Bake until brown.
