Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 c. corn oil
Preparation
    Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
    Mix the egg and corn together.
    Add to flour mixture.
    Heat corn oil in large pan and drop batter by tablespoon into hot oil, one layer at a time.
    Fry 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
    Drain on absorbent papers (16 fritters).
    Good served with honey mixed with butter or maple syrup.
