Jonathan'S Favorite Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    1/2 c. Crisco shortening
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. plain flour
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Cream together the butter and Crisco.
    Add sugar, 1 cup at a time, beating well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating until yellow has disappeared.
    Next, add flour, 1 cup at a time, alternating with milk.
    Last, add vanilla and lemon extracts.
    Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake in preheated oven at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then on wire rack.
