Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/3 c. boiling water
1 c. quick cooking oats
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
2 well beaten eggs
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Pour boiling water over oats.
Let stand for 20 minutes. Cream white sugar, brown sugar, butter and eggs.
Stir in flour. Add vanilla and bake.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 60 minutes.
