Crunchy Grape-Nuts Cereal - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. corn syrup or 2 c. sugar
2 qt. buttermilk or sour milk
1 c. margarine
2 Tbsp. soda
1 Tbsp. maple flavor
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. salt
graham flour (enough to make a stiff dough)
Preparation

Melt margarine, then add all other ingredients, except flour. Add flour last.
Bake in cake pans at 350\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 until done. When cooled, put through 1/4-inch Grape-Nuts screen.
Spread on cookie sheets and toast in slow oven until lightly browned and crisp.
