Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter (room temperature)
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    4 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 c. milk (room temperature)
    1/2 c. shortening (room temperature)
    5 eggs (room temperature)
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and sugar well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, and blend.
    Sift together flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder.
    Add flour and milk alternately, starting and ending with flour.
    Add flavoring.
    Bake in large 10-inch tube pan, well-greased and floured.
    Bake at 315\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes in pan and cool on rack for 5 minutes.
    Then turn out onto plate.
    Leave out the cocoa and add a little more flour if you want a plain cake.
