Strawberry Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. plus 3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    1 1/2 c. crushed pretzels
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
Preparation
    Cream 3 tablespoons sugar and butter together.
    Add pretzels; mix well.
    Press in 9 x 14-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Let cool.
    Combine cream cheese and 1 cup sugar.
    Fold in Cool Whip.
    Spread on cooled crust and refrigerate to chill.
