Italian Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. water
    2 (1 lb.) cans whole tomatoes (undrained)
    1/4 tsp. dried oregano leaves
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
Preparation
    In hot butter in Dutch oven saute onion, garlic and celery, stirring, for 5 minutes.
    Add salt, pepper, green pepper, water, tomatoes, tomato paste and oregano.
    Mix well.
    Bring to boiling, stirring.
    Reduce heat; simmer, covered, 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
