Easy Chicken And Noodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 broiler-fryer (about 3 lb.)
    1 (12 oz.) bag egg noodles
    1 large carrot, grated
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    In a Dutch oven or large pot, place chicken with enough water to cover.
    Simmer about 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until tender and cooked through.
    Remove chicken from stock; set stock aside. Remove chicken from bones.
    Discard bones and set chicken aside. Bring stock to a boil.
    Add noodles and grated carrot.
    Boil until noodles are tender.
    Add chicken.
    Season to taste with salt and pepper.
    It's even better the next day.
