Ranger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    2 beaten eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. oatmeal
    2 c. Rice Krispies
    1 c. coconut
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream the sugars and shortening.
    Add eggs and vanilla.
    Beat until fluffy.
    Add flour which has been sifted with salt, soda and baking powder.
    Mix thoroughly and add oatmeal, Rice Krispies and coconut.
    Dough will be quite crumbly.
    Form into balls.
    Place on greased cookie sheet and press flat.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
    Makes 5 dozen 2-inch cookies.
