Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. melted shortening
1 c. cornmeal
4 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
Preparation

Mix flour, cornmeal, salt and baking powder.
Stir in milk; quantity needed will vary.
Batter should be on the thin side.
Add eggs and shortening.
Mix well.
Bake in a greased pan at 400\u00b0 until brown.
